What scares you the most right now?
Recently, I was a guest on MasterCast to share about my latest project, a book titled, “Run to your Goliaths,” and an accompanying podcast, “Victory Groove.”
In this episode, Ben and I discuss the imperfect circle drawn in my book; confidence, faith, and running toward your Goliaths; and using energy to help others. For those of you who do not know, I am a drummer. I share how I apply my love for drumming to my everyday life by talking about a drumbeat of life and how sometimes it’s just all about timing. As we approach the end of our conversation, I share my joy: watching the future in action, right in front of me with my grandkids.
This is a must-listen for those working through any loss – big or small – and how to keep going.

Henry Talamantes is a passionate growth and revenue leader who builds, scales, and manages sales and marketing teams at early stage startups in the logistics and PropTech space. He has served as the Chief Revenue Officer for 6 different venture-backed companies, all still active and cumulatively having raised 100M+ of follow-on funding following the execution of Go-to-Market plans he created.
His foray into the startup world came after a career in finance, mostly at Merrill Lynch where he was a trainee standout and was able to hone his sales skills while completing one of the most grueling sales training programs in the world. After leaving the bank, he launched Fetch, a package amenity for the multifamily industry that is now used in over 200,000 apartments in 20 different cities, with over 350 team members – and still growing. At Fetch, Henry executed the go-to-market plan he created from scratch and eventually built and led the sales, marketing and client services teams.
Henry originally hails from ‘the old west Texas town of El Paso’ where his mother, father, and grandmother still reside. His sister is completing her medical residency program in Tucson, AZ and lives with her husband Cody. He loves two-stepping, tea, and gifs, and has an unnatural obsession with Hawaii. He is deeply involved with his alma mater, Texas A&M University, where he has served in various Association roles, including as President of the Dallas A&M Club, the largest chapter in the world (by annual giving). Henry also supports and volunteers at various local organizations such as the United Way and the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.

Tashara (TJ) Robinson is a mother, author, and speaker who hails from Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of Skyline High School and Texas A&M University – College Station. Tashara was very active during her college days – she was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Tashara believed that if she followed the “perfect life plan” – graduate college, get married, be a stay-at-home mom – she would be happy. Life didn’t work out as planned – Tashara was divorced after 19 years of marriage. The years leading up and after her divorce were the most difficult, yet the most rewarding. Those years were filled with fear, self-doubt, peace, poise, and eventually, POWER. Her journey of self-discovery yielded a plethora of wisdom that she just could not contain. So, she began sharing with the world through her speaking engagements, website (tasharajrobinson.com), books, and her daily video podcast entitled “Powerful Ones.”
